It's finally the end of a very long week of work and I'm looking forward to the next 4 days of holiday in what has to be one of the most fascinating cities I've ever been to, Prague. A while back, I bought a Nook from Barnes and Noble. I looked, compared, and researched eReaders for MONTHS before finally purchasing one so I'd have it in time for my trip to Belgium. It just happened that it coincided with my birthday at the end of April, so for my Birthday, I went to Barnes and Noble at Southpoint, and for the grand total of $365 I walked out the door with my new Nook in hand. Yeah, I bought the insurance plan. Hell, I plan on taking it with me on my overseas travels, so being able to get a free replacement if I drop it, or it gets smushed in transit is a good thing. read more »

I use several different e-mail addresses, and so I get plenty of spam. Most of these are filtered out by various means, spamassassin, in-line filters and so forth, but occasionally one or two manages to get through. These I normally delete, but sometimes I get some real gems, and sometimes, I'm just bored enough to reply, just to see what happens. But I never reply from the address the spam came in on. No, the way I see it, if they can send from one address and ask that I reply to a different address, then they can get a reply from a different address. read more »
