Stuff From Jeffland

Another successful sortie into the gaping maw of Post-Thanksgiving Hell. . .

So another Thanksgiving has come and gone, leaving me a year older and a year wiser. This year was like so many recent ones. Leave work at noon on Wednesday, make the mad scramble in the annual T-Day Death Race through the wilds and not so wilds of North Cackalackey to my home hamlet of Roanoke Virginia.

Thursday was as it always is. An annual American celebration of the great things that Native Americans gave to the White Man back in the day. Things like corn, tobacco, local farming techniques, fishing techniques, survival skills, beads and artwork and so forth. So finally, we were able to go (THANKS KYLE AND ANDREA!!!) and it was just freakin awesome. First of all, the place was really nice and relaxing. Then we got our massage which was actually a 90 minute lesson in how to give a massage. Nothing fancy, just the basics, but it was amazing.  read more »

Outcast Genius
(65 % Nerd, 82% Geek, 52% Dork)

"For The Record:

Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care!
